OAK RIDGE, Tenn, (March 8, 2023) – Y-12 Federal Credit Union (Y-12 FCU) has announced that it has hired Diana Chan as the vice president of risk management. Chan steps into this role with more than ten years of experience in the financial services industry, including providing in-house legal counsel for a mortgage lending company for the last eight years.
Chan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and her law degree. Chief Financial and Strategy Officer Dustin Millaway is confident Chan’s background will provide critical risk management oversight and expertise rooted in a sound legal foundation. “We are thrilled to have Diana join our team. Risk management is a crucial piece of our business, and it was important to our credit union that we bring someone on board who could thoroughly evaluate all aspects of our organization and help continue leading us in the right direction. In addition, Diana’s extensive knowledge in both accounting and law ensures that our members can be confident in banking with Y-12 FCU,” said Millaway.
Chan is married and a dog mom to a Siberian Husky, who she says keeps the family on its toes. In addition, she enjoys sewing and playing the ancient Chinese tile game called Mahjong.
