I am a free lance interior designer practicing in the east Tennessee region. I reeived my master's degree in Furnishing and Interiors from the University of Georgia in 1976, and a BS in Home Economics from Carson Newman College in 1974. From 1981-1993 I taught interior design courses at Carson Newman College as an adjucnt instructor. Since we moved to Oak Ridge in 1993, I have owned my own business, Judy Gooch Interiors, and specialize in residential interior design, offering full service space planning, renderings of elevations and perspective drawings, window treatments, and bath and kitchen remodels. I was recognized as an Interior Design Society's "Designer of the Year" in 2016, by winning first place in a design project submission. I am a registered Interior Designer with the State Board of Architectural and Engineering Examineers, and a Professional member of the national Interior Design Society.
