-
Take advantage of a great learning opportunity for HR professionals, small business owners, and management at any level! Today's session on Having Difficult Conversations at Work will be led by Dr. Shirley Raines. She was the first woman president of the University of Memphis where she served 12 years. At her induction ceremony for the Tennessee Women's Hall of Fame, Shirley was described as "powerful, personable, and prepared." Dr. Raines is now a keynote speaker, author, leadership development trainer, and consultant.
CEU are offered through Roane State Community college.
The Oak Ridge Chamber has partnered with the Oak Ridge Human Resource Association to offer our members a "Human Resources for Business Leaders Series" on the first Thursday of every other month. The goal of this five-part series is to help local human resource professionals learn about new strategies and practices in human resource management. The workforce climate has shifted significantly within the last few years, so our seminars are geared to address many of those changes.
Oak Ridge Human Resource Association is a group of Human Resource professionals that meet monthly for networking and HR related educational purposes. Topics include but are not limited to recruitment & selection, employment law, compensation & benefits, employee & organizational development, and personnel practices.
